Day two of the new exercise program

A few weeks ago I ordered a new exercise program. I knew it would be challenging and heard from a few friends who had tried it once and vowed to never do it again. Needless to say I was scared and looked at the beautifully decorated box everyday thinking I should just pop the darn thing in the DVD player and get it over with.

Nothing. That’s what I’ve done for the past few weeks.

Then January first and second came and went. Still no exercise program.

Yesterday I finally put the darn thing in and was shocked that I was able to finish half of the program.

There were no scary, god awful exercises.

It was just me and the tape having a good time until I felt a little nauseous and had to stop.

What I realized after the workout is that every time I think I don’t feel like doing something that will move me closer to attaining one of my goals (being physically fit) all I need to do is remember that it’s the New Year and I get to make different choices.

Once I realized that old decisions equal old outcomes I got the courage and motivation I needed to welcome new outcomes. In this case it’s a really sore body.

Just remember – “If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten” – Anthony Robbins.

Here are the January Worksheets!

Here we go! It’s the first day of the new year and I’m extremely excited to get this information to you. For the past few weeks I’ve been planning and hoping and wishing and praying that lots and lots of people will flock to this blog and download the materials and do whatever it takes to live a happe life.

I got so worked up about all that I needed to do to get ready for this first day of my new life that I kinda forgot to do a few things.

And then I started to panick.

And then I didn’t.

I decided that it’s okay if everything isn’t in place on the first day of this new year. It’s okay if I had no idea how to collect email address from all the people who wanted to join because my email marketing website link wasn’t cooperating.

What was important is that I did the work – I shipped as Seth Godin puts it.

I wrote the blog and gave the link to my new home.

Yes, things will change and that’s okay. When they change I will let everyone know right here in our new home.

My lesson for today: Don’t sweat the small stuff. Yes, I forgot to soak my black eye peas last night. Yes I didn’t get everything figured out like I wanted to before the big launch today.

So what.

I did what I could and I’m sure that’s more than enough for this day – the first day of the new year.

Below is the link to download your worksheets for January. You can also send me an email and I’ll put you on my new email address for the Happe Life Club.

Thanks for visiting my new home. It’s my goal to share my thoughts with you at least 3 days a week. I’ve also listed my goals for this year on the About page.  Take a look around and let me know what you think. I’m so happy you’re here on this journey with me.

January Happe Life Club Planning worksheets

Welcome to the Happe Life Club

Happy New Year my friend and welcome to my brand new baby. I call it that because I literally gave birth to this idea December 9th at 2:07 am. How do I know? I wrote the ideas that came to me in a notepad app on my phone at that time and I couldn’t go back to sleep until I wrote everything that came to me. I woke up a little groggy and still quite sleepy. A few minutes later I found my cell phone tucked safely under my pillow (which never happens) and remembered why I felt sleep deprived.

I created this club because I want to help people who are ready to live their Ideal Lives. I know I’ve been trying to do this “Happe Life” thing for the past five years and have failed miserably each time because I did certain things that moved me farther away from what I wanted.

Now I know better and I’m ready to share the lessons I’ve learned with you.

And I need your help…

I’d love for you to join me in my quest to live an (emotionally) happe life. To join the club all you need to do is register by submitting your name and email address (I promise never to betray your trust) and you’re all set. This way I can notify you of new events, videos or any other important information.

Each month I’ll post the worksheets on the first of the month and you’ll have two weeks to complete them. Then we’ll have a group call where I’ll give you additional information about the topic and answer your questions. The calls will only last an hour and I’ll send you information about the specific dates, times and call in number.

I know you’re probably wondering how much this is going to cost you.

It’s absolutely free!.

I’m doing this because I want to help as many people as I can live a happier life.

And…doing this makes me extremely happe so it’s a Win – Win situation for everyone.

Here are a few General Guidelines for getting the most out of your club membership

  • Decide you want to live a happe life
  • Do the worksheets
  • Share your thoughts and questions here on the blog
  • Join in on the free information calls
  • Make a commitment to moving towards happe and away from unhappy
  • Invite others to join the club
  • Set realistic goals and take small happe steps towards achieving them

I’m thrilled to help you live a different life in 2012.

Time to get to work. Download the questions and post your goals (if you’re comfortable). I’m posting mine and look forward to getting to know each and everyone of you.
